November- Topaz

Topaz is said to hold the power of healing and helps to preserve ‘sanity’ the stone is associated with life, strength of body and mind. It was once thought that the wearer would become invisible when danger was near. Topaz is found in Brazil, Afghanistan, Australia, Burma and many more areas.
On the Hardness Scale Topaz is 8 which means it is very resilient. Blue Topaz is heat treated (exposed to radiation) as only very pale blue Topaz is natural. Natural blue Topaz is found in Northern Ireland.
