Garnets are attributed with the power of protecting wearers from nightmares, snakebites and are also thought to provide guidance in the dark. Garnets are found all over the world, one of the most recently discovered colours is the blue garnet, which was discovered in the late 1990’s in Madagascar. The Hardness of the stone is 6.5/7.5.
